Thrive@LBC Confirmation

We are so excited to have you as a student on our campus soon, and trust that you’re equally eager about joining us in August. Our hope and prayer is that the Lord will use your time as a student at Lancaster Bible College over these next few years to transform your heart and mind as you pursue Christ in all that you do!

You should have already received information in your acceptance letter about Thrive@LBC, but feel free to visit this link for more information: Thrive@LBC FAQ's. Please keep in mind that this program is currently required as a part of your acceptance for the fall semester. However, if you have recently re-taken the SAT, ACT, or CLT exam and your scores have improved, it is possible that the Thrive@LBC requirement could be removed. If this is true for you, make sure to get us an official score report as soon as possible so that this can be determined. Additionally, keep in mind that all students who attend Thrive@LBC will receive a voucher that can be used for a free summer class.

Please fill out the form below by Monday, June 20, 2022, to confirm your attendance and understanding of the details of Thrive@LBC while keeping in mind the following details:

  • I understand that I must attend Thrive@LBC as a REQUIREMENT of my acceptance for the fall semester.
  • I understand that I must attend the Thrive@LBC Orientation on August 3rd.
  • I understand that I must attend classes every weekday morning and afternoon of the program, August 4-24.
  • I understand that, if I am a Fall Resident, I must move onto campus on Tuesday, August 2nd and will remain there as part of the Thrive@LBC program. I must reserve my housing by selecting "I will be attending Thrive" on my fall housing application, and I also understand that I will be living in Weber Hall during Thrive and during the fall semester. My meals, housing, and activities through August 24th are covered by the Thrive fee.
  • I understand that, if I am a commuter, I am expected to be on campus August 2nd through August 24th from approximately 8am-8pm during the week as part of the Thrive@LBC program for classes, meals, and activities and that these are including in the Thrive fee. I am also expected to participate in weekend activities with the Thrive program through August 24th. 
  • I understand that there is no additional tuition cost for this program; tuition for the 5 credits is on scholarship. However, a $900 fee will be due on August 5th with my fall semester bill that will cover room, board, and activities associated with the Thrive@LBC program.

Students who complete the Thrive courses but do not begin the fall semester will not be reimbursed the fee. If a student withdraws during Thrive, the refund policy will be as follows:

  • First day of classes - 100% refund
  • Day 3 - 75% refund
  • Day 5 - 50% refund
  • After the first 5 days of class, there will be no refund.
